RETURNS / REFUND / EXCHANGE POLICY
Ceylon Outfit will give its customers the opportunity to refund or return/exchange a product provided it is in fully resalable condition. Returns should be made within 14 days and in original, undamaged packaging. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund/exchange on the item. We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser’s account as store credits. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
DELIVERY & RETURNS
We usually deliver within 7-10 working days of placement of the order. For orders with multiple items and different delivery times, the longer delivery time applies.
We would like you to have complete peace of mind when buying products from ceylonoutfit.lk. You can return all items within 14 days of receipt for a full refund of the item purchased. The refund amount will be credited back to your Ceylon Outfit account as store credits or credit points.
In case of a manufacturing defect of the item, it can be returned to us within 14 days of receipt and you will be refunded after the items have been inspected by us. If reverse pickup is unsuccessful after three attempts or more than two weeks after pickup was initiated for the first time, the refund request will be cancelled. Similarly, if the product is self-shipped, and has not been dispatched by the customer after two weeks of refund initiation, the refund request will be cancelled.
Within the first 14 days of receipt, we will accept all returns except those deemed to have been damaged by the customers themselves outside of normal everyday use.
Please take care that you pack items securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit and with all original packaging (tags etc.). For all self-shipped returns, we recommend you to use a reliable courier service.
Once your return is received by us, the refund is subject to your return having met the requirements of being undamaged and dispatched by you within 14 days.
You can inform us within 14 days of receiving the parcel by writing to us at support@ceylonoutfit.lk . Please make sure that the items are securely packed and handed to our pick-up person.
We will arrange a reverse pickup once for an exchange or refund for an order. Any reverse shipment charges other than the one time will be borne by the customer.
Please note that shipping charges will not be reimbursed.
RETURN OPTIONS
Returns via courier collection
- Drop an email to support@ceylonoutfit.lk with the following details.
Order number, product quantity, reason for the return and email registered in www.ceylonoutfit.lk.
- We shall communicate with the courier company and the courier will pick up your product free of charge (provided that the delivered goods are not damaged or faulty. If the delivered goods are found with fault or damages the recipient needs to pay LKR 300 for the courier company).
- Once we receive the items, we will return the price of the item to the purchaser’s Ceylon Outfit account as store credits within 7 days after a quality check.
- Returns should be made within 14 days and in original, undamaged packaging with the tag intact. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we are unable to accept the return.
Returns via the nearest post office
- Please drop off the package to the nearest post office (Send the package to the following address where our stores are conducted from registered post. Our address is 3/8, “Ambasewana”, Pilikuthtuwa, Buthpitiya.)
- Once we receive the items, we will return the price of the item to the purchaser’s Ceylon Outfit account as store credits within 7 days after a quality check.
- Returns should be made within 14 days and in original, undamaged packaging with the tag intact. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we are unable to accept the return.
ORIGINAL DELIVERY CHARGES
We will refund the delivery charge when a product is incorrect, faulty or damaged, but not when a product is simply unwanted. Note: Please note that the above policies are subject to change by the Management of Ceylon Outfit at any given time without prior notice to the customer.
